About Transplant Transportation Services

TTSI was formed in 2008 in response to the need for dedicated transportation solutions for organ transplant teams and associated staff. We bring over two decades of experience in this specialized field within the air transportation and logistics space to serve the needs of hospitals, transplant centers and Organ Procurement Organizations.

We enjoy long-term relationships with some of the world’s most respected transplant centers and OPOs. Our clients challenge us and inspire us. In support of their work, we strive for operational excellence and relentless improvement.

TTSI is unique. We are not just another aircraft operation. Our sole focus is the transplant industry. We are not distracted by other business lines and services. Many newcomers are entering the market space with grand promises. While they may have peripheral experience in transportation or even medicine, they simply lack the experience required to understand the nuances of this specialized field. Our experience gives our clients a distinct advantage. Our energy and assets are not tied up in day to day aircraft management. We have the ability to direct our resources toward creating better systems, processes and technology. When we schedule a flight and select aircraft, our motivations are focused on our passengers and patient outcomes. Safety, timeliness and cost effectiveness. In that order. Every flight.

Based in Northern California, TTSI works with hospitals and transplant centers throughout the United States and Canada. Contact us to learn more.

At TTSI we know that we are always learning. A learning organization will have the ability to adapt to an ever-changing industry landscape. Due to technology and regulation, aviation and healthcare are two of the fastest evolving industries on the planet. We embrace these opportunities to not only learn, but participate in dialogue with other thought leaders as to how these changes will impact our ability to serve our clients and ultimately improve our ability to deliver the Gift of Life.

TTSI reinvests heavily into our staff and systems to keep up with these changes. Our Dispatch staff attend and complete continuing education classes to keep them constantly apprised of the latest changes. In fact, some of our practices have now been cited as “industry best practices” due to the level of proficiency and excellence we demand.

In 2014, TTSI became the first medical company in the world to achieve the ARGUS Registered, then ARGUS Certified designation. Through a thorough on site audit of systems, policies, safety management and company operations, TTSI demonstrated to the world’s leading independent safety auditing firm that we were worthy of such a designation.
